What
is a scrapbook?
A
special keepsake album with your photos and other
memorabilia in an organized decorative fashion used to
remember your life stories.
Why
is it important to have a scrapbook?
Life is precious, it is important to capture the special events in your life
to preserve these memories to share with family and friends for years to
come.
What
is archival, photo-safe and acid free?
Scrapbook
products labeled with these qualities do not fade or
discolor your photos over time.
Do
I need to organize my photos?
Ideally yes, it will make our consultation go quicker if you group the
pictures by event, or theme, age, etc. If you prefer, I can organize your
photos for an additional fee.
Is
there a separate price for the album?
Yes, you'll pick the type of album that you want from a list I will provide
at the consultation.
What
is journaling?
Journaling
tells the story about the photos on the page (journaling
can include the names and ages of the people in the
photos, or the name of the attraction, what the feeling
was like on that day, or (who, what, where, when, why and
how.) It’s
important to journal so that future generations who look
at your scrapbook will be able to understand the stories
behind your photos. You can do the journaling or if you
prefer I would be happy to do it for you for an additional
fee.
How
long does it take to complete an album?
It depends on how many pictures you have, the type of design of the pages
you would like (detailed or basic) and the size of pages (8x8, 8½x11,
12x12). It can usually range from 1 to 4 weeks.

if I don’t live locally?
I define local as living within in 60 miles of my home office in Otsego,

telephone, email or U.S. mail. Shipping of the photos, memorabilia and
final completed album will be paid by the client.
